IT Training Nepal successfully conducted the workshop titled "Website Development using WordPress" just in an hour on 5 July, 2014. The workshop was attended by 60 participants.
Most of the participants were college graduates, few were professionals from corporate, government, and other institutional backgrounds.
The objective of the Workshop:
The objective of the workshop was to provide skills related to website development using WordPress to the participants. The main objective was to give the concept of a content management system and how it works. After this workshop participants were able to understand the following things:
- What is CMS ?
- What is the advantage of using WordPress as a CMS?
- What is open source?
- How to develop websites of your choice in WordPress using the free themes and plugins?
The workshop was important for both designers and developers along with people from nontechnical backgrounds. Since, the WordPress administration can be used even by a person who does not have any technical knowledge.
