This Multimedia and Animation training course has been devised with the aim of preparing qualified professionals who are artistically aesthetic and innovative and creative. This Multimedia and Animation course is also beneficial for artists and animators to understand the fundamentals and to develop technical skills. How this multimedia and animation training is conducted at IT Training Nepal?

The Multimedia and Animation Training program is focused on developing students creative and artistic skills in the areas of drawing, design, and character animation. Using related software tools, students will develop and refine their 3-D modeling, texturing, and animation skills.

Students after the completion of this Multimedia and Animation training will be able to develop interactive 2D and 3D animations, 3D modeling, visual interface design, and user interface design. After completing the course, the student will be able to work as a 3D modeler and animator, game interface designer, multimedia designer, and interactive experience designer and developer.

The course syllabus for this Multimedia and Animation is designed to be completed within a year along with a project work to complete before students are credited with the certificate of completion. The classes normally run for two half hours, with one hour for instructor demonstration and instruction and the next hour for practice.

We understand, unlike other technical courses, this Multimedia and Animation course should incorporate conceptualizing, and visualization of concepts, ideas, and themes, and then use appropriate tools to realize those. Thus, our emphasis during the training period is idea generation and then implementation. Frequent Guest Lectures from professionals working in Multimedia and Animation will also provide students to learn from industry experts and refine their both idea formulation and implementation skills.

Who can join multimedia and animation?

This is a fundamental course in Multimedia and Animation; we start this course from scratch. So anyone can join this training regardless of educational background and work experience. However, this program being creative work requires qualities in prospective learners. Prior experience in Art and Design, basic computer skills, and a personal inclination toward artistic works are essential for this training.

In this 3D animation and VFX course, students learn preproduction, production, and postproduction skills followed by Computer Graphics, Motion Graphics, and 3D Fundamentals using Autodesk Maya. This sets a foundation for the students to pick a specialization track of their choice and pursue a dedicated study that turns them into a specialist.

In this course, students learn advanced skills in storyboarding. Storyboarding is one of the best ways to present the raw idea visibly.

In this course, students will learn about the Photoshop. The student will draw their own story on the storyboard. At the end of the course, students will make a movie on their own story.

3D Animation [6- 8 Months]
In this course, students will enter into the 3D world. The student will have their own story to be played, their own character to act and their own environment movie is filmed. Students will be using dynamic software (MAYA) during this course.

Following are the topics that will be covered in this section.

VFX/video editing

This is one of the interesting parts of the course. : In this unique visual effects-oriented career track, students get to learn about the visual effects industry in-depth. Thereafter, students learn about Cameras and Principal of cinematography.

They get to learn about the compositing basic, Color Correction, Motion Graphics, Rotoscopying, Matchmoving, and many other important skills. This part of the course can also be developed as a different career path like video editor, live editor, or visual effects artist. Students will get through knowledge of the video editing soft wares like Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Nuke.

At the end of this course, students will be able to edit and composite the videos.

Working with Autodesk Maya

In this section, students will learn about the software Maya. They will be made familiar with the interface of Maya. They will be learning helpful tools which they are going to use during the course.

Modeling

In this section, students learn advanced skills in 3D modeling, Digital Sculpting. Students will be doing organic and inorganic modeling.

At the end of this section, students create a demo reel which is graded by the faculty.

Students will have their own character modeled.

Texturing

In this section, students develop skills in shader development, texture painting, and UV layouts. Students render their texture painting using Mental Rays in Maya.

At the end of this section, students will have textured characters and other objects in the environment which is most important in animation.

Lighting

In this section, students will learn to give the light to the scene they have created. Students will be using different kinds of lights like direct lights, point lights, area lights,s, etc.

At the end of this section, students will have knowledge of 3-point lighting and basic fundamentals of lighting.

Rigging

In this section, students will be rigging their own character. This section mainly focuses on making the modeled character movable. Students will be learning about the joints, constraints, and skinning.

At the end of this section, students will make their characters ready for animation.

Animation

In this section, students will focus on animation, especially character animation. Students are trained to observe the movements. This section involves an in-depth study and analysis of character, motion, and timing.

At the end of this section, students make their characters act in the scene they have created.

Dynamics/paint Effects.

In this section, students learn about the effects, of smoke, fire, fluid, clothes, and hair. Students learn the paint presets of Autodesk Maya.

At the end of this section, student create a demo of the dynamics

Rendering

Finally, students' work is bought in image sequences by the rendering.

In this section, students learn to render their work as fast as possible and in high quality.
